The beast arrived today. It's a new Mac Pro with:
two 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
8 GB of Ram
640 GB 7200 RPM Hard drive
2x NVidia GeForce GT 120 512 MB Graphics Card

Tis sitting behind me right now actually - it was a bit late arriving - so now i'm busy gathering all my files onto the server so I can transfer from the old machine onto the new one! :) I'm so excited! Can't wait to try her out!

Hun, I've already said my piece in the past. You've got to get over this. Really you do. If anything, perhaps your lack of self confidence prohibits you from making it further in the art world? I'm not saying to grow an ego or be arrogant or anything like that - but take a moment and look back through all the stuff you did a few years ago. I bet back then you had moments when you thought you were the shiznit as far as an artist goes - and you look at it now and think it's terrible - or could be improved so much etc etc.

Quit looking at other people's work when it depresses you - you know your own moods better than everyone else. If you're unhappy with your progress, try something new, try something different. Quit falling back on the old standby comforts of Anime and push yourself in a new different way. It will feel awkward, but believe me, you'll thank yourself later.
