This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Best way to make art better is to continue to practice. Start with basics. Composition, balance, anatomy, color theory... learn and master those basics first. that will give a definite edge. Are you doing your art digitally or the old fashioned way?

Gimp is better than paint, to be sure. But in the end, it doesn't matter what tools you use, it's about getting the practice and the basics down first. Whether you're using pencil and paper, paint, a tablet, photoshop, illustrator, or a whiteboard.

ok.thank you.i just didn't know how to make my own art.expect for drawing or go on paint.cause this is what i learned in school.so can you please blame the school and not me.cause this is what i was taught.
I'm not blaming anyone. DA has rules in order for you to have an account. One of those rules is that you don't post art that doesn't belong to you. The reason for this is that when you post something DA assigns you as the owner of a copyright. If it's not your art - then they've illegally handed you rights to an ownership that really isn't yours. Your school didn't teach you to go and find other artwork and post it on DA.
